    Papa Varelli was born in Athens in 1966 from a family of Greek sailors. After studying maritime studies in Piraeus, he served in the merchant navy. He had a brilliant career reaching the rank of Captain (Master Mariner). In July 2013 he decided to put a term to his maritime career swapping it for international trade. Now he owes a small trust fund that allows him to be financial independent.

    Papa Varelli reside in the Greek Island of Mykonos but during the ski season he is however based in an Alp ski resort next to Maribor (as Slovenia is in the center of Europe this gives him an easy access to attend Champions League games). Papa Varelli travel extensively, during a calendar year, he can be seen in Rio de Janeiro for Fluminense – Flamengo, in Buenos Aires for River – Boca, in Montevideo for Nacional – Penarol. When in Asia he often attend few F1 Grand Prix, when in Australia he can be seen at Aussie rules games and if visitinig in South Africa he will for sure attend a couple of games of Rugby union Super 15.

    On top of sports events Papa Varelli likes to socialize in discotheques. He enjoy good wines (with a preference for Gevrey-Chambertin and top burgundy), champagnes and Pimms cocktail in VIP zone of night clubs especially when Armin van Buuren, David Guetta or Bob Sinclair performs.

    Costas Danilenko began his career as an artist with the restoration of metal advertising signs. Traveling and making new acquaintances in the artistic circles of Paris, Larnaca, London, Moscow and Odessa inspired Costas to start creating his own artworks - the paintings on wood and metal.

    Danilenko is the creator of several series of paintings, the most popular of which was the series "Papa Varelli". The paintings of this series, united by the themes of football and the sea, not only became an adornment of private collections, but are also regularly used in the creation of printing products.
